Orvosaink bemutatkoznak
Dr Knoll Júlia
Orvosi diplomámat Budapesten, a Semmelweis Orvostudományi Egyetemen szereztem.15 évig dolgoztam a SOTE 2. sz.
Megalapításától 8 évig vezettem a Semmelweis Egyetemen működő MSD Oktatóközpontot, ahol orvosok részére, széleskörű ismereteket nyújtó, pontszerző tanfolyamokat szerveztünk.
Gyermekorvosként egyik alapelvem a prevenció, vagyis a megelőzés!
Szívesen fogadok angol nyelven beszélő pácienseket is.
Julia Knoll MD.
I received my PhD as a medical doctor, from Semmelweis University in 1978. For the next 15 years, I worked at the Pediatric Clinic No.2. Semmelweis University Budapest (Tûzoltó St.). I had practice in the neonatal, infant, cardiology and perinatal intensive care (PIC) departments. Spent a year in the clinic’s ER. It was during this time that I earned my certification in General Pediatrics. Meanwhile, I was on temporary placement at the Pediatric Department of Laszlo Hospital in Budapest for a couple of months and then at the Pediatric Department of St. Mary Hospital in London for a few months. I then accepted a two year residency in San Francisco, California performing scientific research for the San Francisco VA Medical Center Molecular Biology division. In Budapest, Hungary my research and practice primarily focused on the ongoing monitoring of adolescents with young parents who had heart attack or other early circulation diseases. My department was led by Dr. Tamas Szamosi who was the 2nd Doctor in Europe to initiate the prevention of adolescent heart and circulatory related conditions.
I was then a scientific associate at Merck for 20 years. During this time, I earned my Clinical Pharmacology Certification and was also the Director of the Merck Scientific Study Center located at Semmelweis University for eight years.
As a pediatrician, my fundamental principles rely on prevention and the closest possible collaboration with parents, as our goals for healthy children are in alignment and can only be achieved by working closely together.
I am dedicated to maintain the physical and emotional well-being of children and families despite today’s fast-paced world thus further complicated by the onset of Covid.
English speaking patients are warmly welcomed.
